Scrub the potatoes thoroughly, rinse them, and cut them in quarters so that they look like cute little apple slices. Combine the tea leaves, bay leaves, garlic, ginger, rosemary, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Add enough oil to soak them and then a little more. Add as much soy sauce as you think might taste good. Mix it all around. Then — after washing your hands — add the potato quarters. Use your sparklingly clean hands to introduce them to the other ingredients. After the potatos are thoroughly besmirched on all surfaces, strew them evenly on a pan. Preheat the oven to 375 or thereabouts. Cook them until they've had enough. Set them out to cool. Burn your tongue while furtively eating several of them. Serve the rest.
